MVIMG or JPG motion photo is a file format generated by some Android phones, capturing an image along with a short video of up to 3 seconds. These files are usually identified by the MVIMG_ prefix or the _MP.JPG suffix in their filenames. They consist of a JPG image and a short MP4 video merged into a single file.

Unfortunatley these files are rarely supported outside of Android devices (the motion part), but you can upload an MVIMG JPG file to this tool, which will export the MP4 and JPG files separately. You can then download the video file or use our tools to edit it further. Additionally, if you only need the JPG part, you can use this tool to remove the video and convert motion photo to original single still photo, reducing the file size.
