Online tool for joining two animated GIFs horizontally or vertically

How It Works

  1. Upload Your GIFs: Simply select and upload two or more animated GIFs or WebP files (up to 4 for grid layout).
  2. Choose Layout: Decide how you want to join them:
    • Horizontally (side-by-side) - Places images next to each other
    • Vertically (stacked) - Places images on top of each other
    • 2x2 Grid - Arranges 4 images in a 2x2 grid pattern
  3. Arrange Images: Drag and drop your uploaded images into the desired positions in the preview area.
  4. Combine and Download: Once you're happy with the arrangement, click the "Combine" button to join them into one animated file. Download your newly created GIF instantly!

Supported File Formats

  • GIF (Graphics Interchange Format) - The most popular format for short animations.
  • WebP - A modern format that offers higher compression for images and animations.

Best Practices for Optimal Results

  • Matching Sizes: For a smooth result, try to use GIFs with similar widths (for vertical joins) or similar heights (for horizontal joins). You can use our resizer tool to resize GIFs.
  • Consistent Frame Rates: To avoid choppy playback and large file size, it’s recommended to use GIFs with matching frame rates and frame count. Mismatched frame rates may result in uneven animations.
  • Limit File Sizes: For faster processing, consider uploading GIFs of reasonable file sizes. Larger files may take more time to process.

To combine GIFs by overlaying one on top of another, use our GIF overlay tool.
To merge GIFs by playing one after another, upload them both to the GIF maker tool.
