This free online tool lets you place an image on top of a GIF animation and fine-tune its position frame by frame. Simply upload your GIF, add the overlay image, and use the drag-and-drop editor to adjust the placement across individual frames. Once you're satisfied, you can generate a new GIF with your custom overlay.
How to add an image to a GIF animation
To add an image on top of a GIF animation, follow these steps:
- Upload your GIF file using the upload form above.
- Upload the overlay image (PNG, JPG, GIF, or WebP) that you want to place on top of the GIF.
- Use the drag-and-drop interface to position the overlay image on each frame of the animation. You can also enter exact pixel values for more precise placement.
- If you want to skip adding the overlay on certain frames, check the "Don't add image to this frame" option for those frames.
- Once you are satisfied with the positioning, click the "Create animation!" button to generate the new GIF with the overlay applied.
