The white box caption tool now supports video files in addition to animated images. You can add iFunny-style top or bottom captions to MP4, WebM, MOV and other video formats (discussion).

Added animated SVG output to the image vectorization tools. You can now convert animated GIF to SVG, APNG to SVG, animated WebP to SVG, and animated AVIF to SVG. Each frame is vectorized independently and combined into a single animated SVG using CSS keyframe animations, preserving original frame timing.

Since ezgif already had a few audio tools, I decided to create a seperate section for them, and added a few more converters. For example, you can now convert WAV to MP3, FLAC to MP3, and OGG to M4A. You can also boost audio volume, mute, or extract audio from video.

Added a new tool: EXIF and metadata remover. It strips all metadata from image files (GPS location, camera details, timestamps, author info, and embedded thumbnails) before you share them online.

Added an edge cleanup option to the background removal and effects tools. It removes fuzzy semi-transparent or distorted color pixels that remain along the edges after replacing a color with transparency, producing cleaner, sharper edges (discussion).

Added "Remember settings" checkbox to some of the tools. It will save the selected options if you switch back and forth between tools or upload a new file, making it easier to process multiple similar files. The settings are saved in a cookie in your browser. Uncheck the box if you want to clear the settings (discussion).

The crop tool now supports autocrop (trimming transparent areas) for APNG, WebP and AVIF files (previously autocrop was only available for GIFs).
Added a new aspect ratio tool for cropping, stretching or padding a video to fit a specific aspect ratio.
Video to GIF/WebP/APNG/AVIF converters now support changing aspect ratio and automatically cropping black bars from the top and bottom of the video (discussion).

Overlay tool now supports overlaying animated GIF on top of another animated GIF or static image. Previously it only supported static images as overlay.

Added a new tool: Animated GIF analyzer. It allows you to inspect the internal structure of animated GIF images. It provides a summary of file, including dimensions, file size, total frame count, loop count, and the global color table (palette), followed by frame-by-frame details - frame dimensions, x/y offsets, duration, and disposal method. It is a useful utility for debugging broken GIFs, optimizing file sizes, or understanding how a specific animation is constructed.

APNG, AVIF, WebP and JXL makers now use milliseconds for frame duration. Previously centiseconds (1/100 of a second) were used for consistency with the GIF maker (GIF format only supports centiseconds per the GIF specification). This gives you more precision for frame durations.

- Ezgif now displays the length (duration) of a GIF file in the file stats.
- The GIF cutter now also supports APNG and AVIF files.
- Bulk processing has been added to the WebP to JPG, AVIF to JPG, and JPG to AVIF converters. In bulk processing mode, the conversion happens locally on your device without uploading files to a server.
- Several changes have been made to all video-to-animated-image tools, including a slider for selecting any FPS and a quality setting in the video-to-AVIF converter.
