Online Rounded Corners Tool

Add rounded corners to your animated GIFs, APNGs, WebPs and still images with this free online tool. Simply upload your image, adjust the corner radius to your preference, and download the result with smooth, rounded edges.

How to use

  1. Upload your GIF or image using the form above
  2. Adjust the corner radius using the slider or type a value in pixels
  3. Optionally check "Use as percentage" to set the radius relative to image size (e.g., 50% creates a circular/elliptical shape)
  4. Choose a background color for the corners (transparent, white, black, or a custom color)
  5. Click "Apply rounded corners!" to process the image

Corner Radius

The corner radius controls how rounded the corners are. A small value like 10-20px creates subtle rounding, while larger values create more dramatic curves. Setting the radius to 50% of the image's shorter side turns rectangular images into oval/circular shapes.

Background Color

The rounded-off corner areas need to be filled with something. You can choose transparent (for GIF, PNG, WebP, APNG, AVIF), white, black, or any custom color. Note that the GIF format has limited transparency support, so using a solid background color is recommended for GIF animations to create smooth edges (you can use transparency, but the edges will be pixelated), other formats support partial (alpha) transparency, that allows for smooth edges even on transparent backgrounds.

All animated image formats are supported including GIF, APNG, WebP, AVIF and JPEG XL. The effect is applied to every frame while preserving animation timing. It also supports images in JPG format, but they will be outputted as PNG files for transparency support.

Rounded corners are commonly used for social media posts, profile pictures, app icons, and web design elements. This tool makes it easy to achieve that modern, polished look without any image editing software.
